**Leica Geosystems** is currently looking for a **Commercial Director - UK **to come and join our team based in Milton Keynes with travel to other sites. You will join us on a**full time, permanent basis**and in return, you**will receive a**competitive salary.**

**About our Commercial Director**:

- To become successful in the role you need a proven track record of working in a corporate organisation, preferably in a survey equipment company- You will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders across Hexagon Geosystems- Have experience of pricing tools, mechanisms and preferably Project Right price books- Strong knowledge of a financial reporting system (Geosystems use BIW) and have an analytical approach to reviewing figures- You will have experience in implementing and managing change in business processes- Experience of devising and implementing projects with strong project management skills to achieve the desired outcome and growth / efficiency savings for the business
**Key responsibilities as our**Commercial Director **will include**:

- Being responsible for ensuring high level of stakeholder service whether this is the internal customer or external customer- Managing relevant cross business functions, including but not limited to Fleet, I.T, Purchasing and Health and Safety- Being responsible for all aspects of implementing pricing, this includes digital price books/catalogues, price increase simulations, reward card analysis, Average Net Selling Price analysis, developing and implementing pricing strategies and monitoring inventory control for the UK businesses- Being capable of advising and collaborating with other leaders in the business on pricing and inventory decisions to improve GP%, working with product management and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies around products and services, such as software and CCP, analysing market trends and customer behaviour to identify opportunities for upselling and product mix optimization- Preparing and presenting regular reports on pricing and inventory performance to the management team, support the benchmarking process of our product pricing against the competition, taking in to account the local market conditions- Controlling the price list setting process and monitor the appropriateness of the centrally defined General Reference Prices (GRPs). This role owns the price book. You will also control Local List Pricing (LLP) and be responsible for updating them

**Qualifications / Experience**
- Industry experience in the Survey equipment market preferred- Stakeholder focus: High personal drive for stakeholder satisfaction- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions- Experience in preparing business documents and conducting formal presentations- Proven track record in a similar role- Entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethic- Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability- Willingness to travel for business- Adheres to Hexagon values
**Language**
- English fluent written and verbal- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and provide project management updates- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
**Travel**
- Domestic and occasional international travel will be required for this role
**Computer Skills**
- Fluent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)- Strong knowledge of Project Right, QWIKI, BIW and SFDC (Sales Force software) solutions preferred
