Days only
- Monday - Thursday 6am - 5pm
- Overtime premium between 06:00-7:30 and 16:30-17:00
- Friday early finish
- Overtime 1 x ¼ during the week, 1 x ½ on Saturday and double time on Sunday
- 36.8 hours per week, expected to work 44 hours, paid for 46.2 hours
- 25 days holiday + stat bank holidays

**THE BUSINESS**:
Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a Toolroom Technician to join our client based in Hartlepool. The company in question are offering a fantastic package for a day’s only role. Our client have been successfully operating as a high-volume manufacturer for over 60 years and have built up a solid reputation and client base within their sector. If you are experienced in traditional tool making machinery and skills we would love to hear from you

**THE ROLE**:

- Support production departments to maximise productivity through effective, pro-active maintenance and
- efficient recovery from tooling and equipment breakdowns.
- Ensure all health & safety policies, procedures and protocols are adhered to at all times.
- Carry out a TPM schedule to ensure all tooling components are fit for purpose and in good order.
- Service, repair and maintain punch tools, dies, shaping, grinding and drilling equipment.
- Use and maintain surface/cylindrical grinders, lathes, drills, turning and milling machinery etc.
- Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with engineering and production personnel.
- Improve and maintain housekeeping standards throughout the toolroom facility.

**THE PERSON**:

- Must be proficient in the use of turning, milling, surface grinding and cylindrical grinding.
- Experienced in traditional tool making machinery and skills.
- Experience gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Good organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive approach to work, a self-starter.
- Flexible approach.

Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- A formal qualification in an Engineering Toolmaking discipline.
- CNC Programming experience
