We are actively seeking a Logistics Handler to be based in our Stores department within our Leicester depot.

**Main tasks and Responsibilities**:
To Follow established procedures and guidelines to receive visually inspect and to handle store record. Dispatch goods in store and onwards to customer within the warehouse in order to reach quality and deliver in time and cost targets in defined are of responsibility.

Impact: Delivery: Delivery according to specific standards and guidelines

Scope: Immediate team/department

**Main Responsibility’s**:

- Pick and deliver goods according to relevant logistics process.
- Pick, label and dispatch outgoing goods with relevant documents.
- Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies between goods and purchase orders and invoices.
- Accurately sort Label and store goods: arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
- To participate in inventory checks when required to maintain stock accuracy.
- To participate in a full stock take when required.
- To actively participate in continuous improvement process of development quality deliver safety and methods
- To keep the stores and warehouse area clean and tidy according to depot guidelines and ensure you work within Health and Safety guide lines and practise.
- To help and coach and develop other colleagues in daily work.
- To operate Fork truck/work equipment or machinery (with licenses when required).
