One of my long-standing central London based Wealth Management clients, are currently recruiting for an experienced Paraplanner that is looking for a route through to becoming an Adviser.

The role will be working directly with one of their highest billing Advisers, who now has too many clients, new enquiries and recommendations to deal.

I have personally worked closely with this firm for nearly 7 years, placing circa 20 new members of staff with them, which has been due to organic growth and internal promotions. They offer truly consultative, holistic financial advice, which is 100% clientcentric and not just about building up the AUM for the firm. They have built the foundations of the firm on this basis and the net result has been steady and sustainable growth, built around referrals and recommendations.

The Paraplanning role will be working on a one-to-one basis with the Adviser attending both face-to-face and online client meetings and then taking an active part in deciding what the most suitable recommendations for the client should be. The firm tendsto deal with higher net worth clients, so the cases are more complex and interesting, as the Paraplanner, you will need to complete bespoke suitability reports and help to come up with the most tax efficient and beneficial solutions. Due to the age of someof the clients, there will also be lots of exposure to intergenerational planning, so you will not only get to know individual clients, but also their family members as well.

Full on the job training and mentoring will be provided, with the aim that the Advisers passesover some of their clients once you are fully confident and technical competent with the Adviser role.

To be eligible for this role you must have solid Paraplanning experience and be at least level 4 diploma qualified.
