**Warehouse Supervisor**

**36 hours per week**

**Salary - Circa £25K**

AVEC is a leading supplier and distributor of professional hair & beauty products to wholesale customers across the UK, Ireland and Western Europe. Based near Glasgow Airport, the Company operates from a warehouse of over 22,000 sq.ft.

**Warehouse Supervisor Position Overview;**
- Supporting warehouse manager with all warehouse operations in line with company policies and procedures
- Direct line supervisor for a team of Warehouse Operatives
- Assign daily warehouse workload priorities, receiving, warehousing, distribution, logistics and operations
- Manage warehouse operator performance, escalating additional training requirements to warehouse manager
- Assist warehouse manager with product inventory management, accuracy, cycle counts and annual external audit
- Shop floor supervision for all H&S requirements and safe work practices
- Deputise in the absence of warehouse manager, assume all responsibilities for warehouse operation
- Initial point of contact for all warehouse team members, resolving or escalating issues as applicable

**What are we looking for?**
- Minimum 3 years in a similar warehouse environment
- Proven track record in warehouse activity distribution
- Inventory controls, warehouse management systems
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
- Understanding of warehouse and operations procedures
- Previous experience leading/supervising a team
- Understanding of Health & Safety, good and safe work practices
- REACH Forklift truck licence is preferred but not essential

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm (45 mins for lunch); Friday 8:30am to 4.00pm (30 mins for lunch)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- REACH Forklift truck licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:
