IOSH Safety, Health and Environment for Construction Workers

We are seeking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Health and Safety Trainer who can do class room training on a basis to our network of IOSH learners. Trainer criteria to become an IOSH trainer differs from course to course, and is specifically to do with sector experience and level of IOSH membership. All members’ CPD (Continuing Professional Development) must be in good standing.

**Duties and responsibilities will be**:

- Supporting our community of online learners, dealing with occupational health and safety and learning queries, advising on practical assessments, marking mock exams and providing feedback.
- Developing training materials (notes PPT, lesson plans etc) against syllabus.
- Providing health and safety technical support to relevant support departments.
- Marking end of course tests and practical assessments.

**Qualification**:

- Be a Chartered member of IOSH is a Must (A safety and health qualification is required)
- A Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) level 3 certificate or equivalent.
- Have an adult training qualification at level 3 on a regulated qualifications framework or have successfully completed the IOSH Train the Trainer course.
- Training and Development Lead Body (TDLB) Assessor Award units A1 and A2 or equivalent
- Have two years substantial face-to-face training experience.
- Training and qualification assessment experience
- Please provide a copy of their business qualification (level 5) if they have one.
- Knowledge and skills of working and training a senior audience.
- Business leadership experience will be an advantage.

Some specialist courses have different requirements, specifically to do with sector experience and level of IOSH membership.

**Salary**:Negotiable

**Job Type**:Contract Basis

**Salary**: £250.00-£300.00 per day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme

All much wear a Mask when entering our building and follow the restrictions.

Licence/Certification:

- CSCS (preferred)
