**Position Summary**:
The National Artist role will require travel to various stores and events across the UK & Ireland.

**Responsibilities**:
**1.** **SOCIAL MEDIA, CONTENT CREATION, SPECIAL EVENTS, COMMUNICATIONS, MAC PRO MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM**
- Assist the Senior Artist/ DOMA in any event as required.
- Actively and timely participate in quick consultations of written or social media, providing information regarding artistry, products and collections following the MAC standards.
- Collaborate and/or facilitate Master Classes as per M A C PRO Membership Program department needs and strategies.
- Participate in Retail activities such as VIP consultations and appointments at the request of National Manager of Artistry.
- Create best in class content for internal educational purposes and for brand/ personal social channels.
- Maintain relationships with local/regional press in conjunction with PR needs and strategies.

**2.** **PRO TEAM**

***- Upskill Regional Artists in terms of content creation, facilitation and consumer facing Artistry activity.
- Train and develop the PRO Team in collaboration with the Regional Artists, facilitate the induction of new members, lead by example and help in the development of special training workshops to improve the Team’s skills and knowledge.
- Work with the National Manager of Artistry to recruit new Artists based on a robust criteria and interview process.
- Observe and modify if necessary, Artist makeup abilities when working side by side or in a training environment. Provide feedback and follow up with the National Manager of Artistry, Education Team and Retail Manager.
- Collaborate with the Senior Artist to present independent ideas and concepts for training modules for the MAC PRO Team.
- Identify training needs and provide feedback to the National Manager of Artistry, Senior Artist, Director of Makeup Artistry, Manager of Retail Operations and Retail Manager when and where applicable.

**3.** **TRAINING AND EDUCATION**
- Assess and develop Make Up Artistry of Retail Artists across UK and Ireland
- Assist in facilitating Advanced Skill Certification 1&2 and Fashion Show Skill Certification.
- Attend and participate in Artistry meetings by presenting independent ideas and concepts, discussing departmental developments and coaching and supporting MAC Artists.
- Responsible for researching and developing current trend and general make-up knowledge, building on information provided by the brand to incorporate initiatives for the development of MAC Artists.
- Practice the ability to translate Trends locally with the guidance of the Senior Artist or Director of Makeup Artistry.
- Work with the Education team to drive service & artistry KPI’s through In Real Life training and self-led E-Learning platforms.

**4.** **ADMINISTRATION**
- Conduct regular store visits and work alongside the Education Teams to identify Artistry needs and assess the progress of the team.
- Maintain regular contact with the Senior Artists and Retail Manager of focus door(s) to maintain and assess Artistry strategy in collaboration with the National Manager of Artistry.
- Provide factual and relevant feedback when attending store visits to the essential departments and leaders to enhance the future capabilities of events, workshops and overall makeup capabilities of M-A-C Artists and PRO Team members.
- Utilise various social media platforms to elevate and promote Artistry and M-A-C collections/products.
