**HR Advisor Job in Christchurch**

Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a long standing client with an excellent culture and reputation, and a low turn over of staff. They are steadily growing and have some exciting roles to recruit for on the horizon. They are looking to addto their HR team and are therefore recruiting for an additional HR Advisor to report to the recently promoted HR Manager.

The HR Advisor will be an essential part of the business, mainly assisting with a great recruitment process, from discussing roles with hiring managers internally and assessing skill gaps, to onboarding and contract preparation.

**Duties and Responsibilities of the HR Advisor**:

- Taking ownership for the recruitment cycle from vacancy briefing to on-boarding and probation completion
- Conduct briefings with hiring managers and key collaborators to fully understand recruitment needs and develop an impactful recruitment strategy while assessing skills gaps
- Assisting with the onboarding of new starters, from generating Contracts of Employment, to coordination of equipment and assisting with inductions
- Maintaining HR and Recruitment documentation, including new starter and leaver documentation, employee benefits, probations, work anniversaries, etc.
- Provide recruitment metrics on a monthly basis
- Supporting the co-ordination of the PSL and other external recruitment partners
- Working with the Social Committee with Social events including our annual summer and winter parties
- Supporting the training initiatives and liaising with external stakeholders
- Assist in coordinating Global culture initiatives
- Administration, general tasks and on-going projects to support the People & Culture department and the Head Office function

**Knowledge & Experience needed for the HR Advisor**:

- Previous experience in either internal or agency recruitment
- And interest in HR
- Excellent organisation skills
- Positive and proactive attitude
