Vocational Rehabilitation Team Leader

Hybrid - 2 days a week in Office

Dorking or Basingstoke

Our Vocational Rehabilitation Team Leaders proactively manage and develop the Vocational Rehabilitation team to ensure that performance targets and objectives are achieved to deliver a market leading service proposition to enhance the customer experience. They deputise for the Rehab and Nurse Manager as required and are responsible for the day-to-day allocation and supervision of work across the Rehabilitation services team. To be successful in this position you will:

- Have qualifications related to vocational rehabilitation, or relevant experience in a related field, i.e. Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Occupational Health, Occupational Psychology or Vocational Case Management.
- Have a proven ability to provide vocational rehabilitation for a wide range of companies and industries with a strong commercial awareness.
- Work with people with disabilities and return them to work.
- Have excellent case management skills.
- Have the the ability to lead, coach, motivate and develop the team to achieve success, including performance and attendance management.
- Project manage with the ability to undertake planning and identifying trends, risks and issues.
- Plan accordingly within the team to meet customer expectations, volume demand, quality and agreed service levels including identifying tools, resource and support required.
- Review case management of VRC’s to ensure there are appropriate return to work plans, timescales, recommendations on reasonable adjustments and adaptations to support return to work outcomes.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with employers to reduce sickness absence in the workplace.
- Establish an understanding of the client’s needs and provide a quality service.
- Promote our services and provide job retention, absence management and rehabilitation services.
- Deliver presentations and assist employers to develop robust absence management protocols to support them in returning employees back into the workplace.
- Assist with developing and building in-depth understanding of early intervention services and delivery across claims.
- Proactively identify process improvements and efficiencies.
