**Accounts Assistant - Credit Control. £28,000 - £30,000 London | Hybrid**
For a community charity in central London, we are recruiting a permanent Accounts Assistant - Credit Control. Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, this role will raise all invoices and will manage the revenue collection process, ensuring a healthycash-flow position whilst liaising with external and internal customers. The Accounts Assistant - Credit Control will ensure all allocations are updated and accurate to ensure reliable ageing.
**Main Duties**:
- Raising invoices and then collection of commercial, tenant and other debt according to credit terms
- Raising manual invoices
- Reconciling data from databases and uploading into Xledger
- Reconciliation of Local Authority funding
- Reconciliation of Sales Ledgers and Control Accounts monthly
- Preparation of management information relating to debtors, ageing and bad debt
- Daily banking of cash and cheque receipts and management of petty cash
- Preparation and distribution of management accounts including commentary for management team
**Person Specification**:
- Significant credit control experience
- Significant experience of billing and raising invoices - up to 200 per month for 3 companies.
- Strong Excel skills and understanding of accounting concepts, processes, and controls
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail
