Retail Supervisor

We are looking for a full-time Sales Supervisor to join the team at our wonderful **British Emporium** store in Bakewell.

The **British Emporium** is exactly what it says - a one-stop-shop where you can buy every conceivable consumer product, confident in the knowledge that it has been made in Great Britain.

We are looking for someone who shares our values and believes in selling quality products. You must be friendly, outgoing, confident and enjoy talking to people. You will need to be flexible, enjoy new challenges, be willing to learn about a wide range of products and be able to work as part of a team. An interest in interiors, homeware or giftware would be great. A good retail track record is definitely something we are looking for. Visual merchandising experience is an advantage but not essential.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Leading by example - assisting customers with great service
- Using the EPOS system
- Checking deliveries & preparing stock for sale, stock taking
- Replenishing shop floor stock & organising stockrooms
- Creating visual & inspirational displays to help sell products
- General shop floor maintenance & housekeeping
- Covering for manager & directing the team
- Keyholder responsibilities
