Apollo Home Healthcare are recruiting a SEN Early Years Support Worker who has a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service user who has complex care needs.

We are supporting a 3-year-old little boy in Bolton who requires assistance during the day and night.

He is currently being supported at Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital, staff will be required to get to the hospital for training and shadowing shifts until he is discharged.

During the weekdays when he is home, your role will be to care for him at Nursery on a 1:1 basis. This can include carrying out care needs and social interactions and supporting him with his development.

He is a happy toddler who enjoys playing with cars and his light up toys. He also loves to watch his favourite TV show, Hey Douggie and listen to music. When at home he will be surrounded by his loving family and friendly pet dogs.

He is unable to vocalise but can express his wants and needs and is very independent for his age. His care team will need to support him with his day-to-day needs.

Previous experience working with children is desired, however not essential as Apollo Home Healthcare offer complex care training to enhance your current skill set.

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team**

**Essential Experience Required**
- 3 months previous care experience
- Personal care
- Moving and positioning
- Medication Administration

**Desired Experience**
- Previous experience working with children within a complex care setting
- Tracheostomy care
- Gastrostomy feeds (PEG)

**We have the following shifts available**
- Part Time
- 2 - 3 shifts per week
- Days
- 8am - 5pm Monday-Friday
- Nights 9pm-7am - Monday-Sunday

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays £12.00 per hour Approx. £96 per 8 hour shift

Weeknights £12.50 per hour Approx. £125 per 10 hour shift

Weekends £13.00 per hour Approx. £130 per 10 hour shift

Bank Holidays £18.00 per hour Approx £180 per 10 hour shift
