DWP is looking to fill 1 role in Benefit Payment Systems Group directorate.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is one of the largest Government Departments, with an ambitious and challenging agenda to deliver welfare reform to all aspects of benefit payments.

Benefit Payment Systems Group specialise in pre and post payment resolution, including resolving issues and exceptions for bank payments, third party deductions, control of payment files and other complications arising from the payment process. Our customers include DWP, Other Government Departments, Banks, Building Societies and the general public.

Working as part of Benefit Payment Systems Group, the post holder will work closely with Managers at all levels, as well as counterparts across all strands of PBSS to safely and accurately deliver all benefit payment activities.

**Job description**:
**What are my responsibilities?**:

- Analysing and supporting a number of critical change activities impacting the operational teams across Benefit Payment Services Group locations.
- Support in identifying and impacting how a variety of changes will impact business processes in BPSG through, the programme of changes which will transform how future payments will transition.
- Reviewing business processes, identifying areas of continuous improvement activities to ensure cost effectiveness in enabling the successful delivery of Finance Group business priorities, within challenging timescales.
- Working collaboratively with Stakeholders to mitigate issues and risks.

**Hybrid working**

This job role may be suitable for hybrid working, which is where an employee works part of the week in their DWP office and part of the week from home. This is a voluntary, non-contractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business need, but personal circumstances and other relevant circumstances will also be taken into account. If you are successful, any opportunities for hybrid working, including whether a hybrid working arrangement is suitable for you, will be discussed with you prior to you taking up your post.

Hybrid working is only available for UK based roles.
