Cleaner (Temporary)

Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in 6 holiday apartments. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for visitors. The working hours are between 10am and 3pm across a 7 day week however a rota will be established between the staff to split the days to suit the team. Applicants must be available to work Saturday and Sunday. Hours will range from 4 hours per week at quiet times to approx 16 hours per week at busier times. We are looking for applicants with flexibility regarding the working hours due to the nature of the industry. Please note that there are 4 flights of stairs in the property.

**Duties**:

- Remove used bedding and replace with clean bedding
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens and common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Adhere to company policies and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in holiday let cleaning is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment usage
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of assigned duties

Note: This is a paid position.

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
