**Underwriting Assistant - Contingency**

**London**

**£30,000 to £35,000 + Excellent Benefits**

**Responsibilities**
- Assisting Underwriters in producing a Contingency underwriting plan in accordance with performance targets.
- Entering and managing underwriting risk data and files within internal underwriting systems.
- Building and maintaining good relationships with brokers and clients as needed, delivering a high quality service at all times.
- Producing and analysing statistical data to assist with Underwriting decision making, as well as compliance / market returns and reports.
- Working alongside internal underwriting support and compliance to ensure a high and consistent level of data integrity.
- Entry and management of binder data through bordereaux and DDM.
- Bordereaux monitoring with brokers and/or coverholders.
- Liaising with supporting stakeholders to provide declarations and bordereaux.
- Assisting the team with data presentation for Reinsurance and Consortium packs, as well as internal review meetings.
- Identifying and implementing ways to improve performance of the account through new ideas, processes and approaches.
