Our client based in Cardiff, a successful hospitality company who provide luxury accommodation for the business and leisure market, are seeking an experienced Head of Revenue & Sales to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a key position within the company, and forms part of the next phase of the company's growth. You will increase the local exposure, global offering, and revenues from both the leisure and business travel sectors in this exciting and ever growing market.You will take the lead to grow local, project-based corporate business and develop the relationships with major travel agents increasing existing accounts together with the development of new accounts by planned coordinated sales activity.

You will also be accountable managing all aspects of the revenue and sales functions including the management of the day to day operation of the revenue and sales team (3 FTE).

Key Responsibilities:

- Development and implementation of the sales plan, including direct sales calls, research, appointment making and taking part in promotional campaigns, plus client visits and contract negotiation.
- Responsible for the smooth running of the revenue and sales office, working alongside the team to maximise all sales opportunities and conversion of enquiries.
- Develop, monitor and adjust pricing strategies to reflect asset strength relative to the competition and specific market conditions and explore new distribution opportunities.
- Manage, analyse and prepare forecast reports.
- Experience of Revenue & Sales within a hotel or hospitality environment is essential.
- Strong ability to manage, support, develop and nurture a small team of sales & revenue staff.
- Ability to work closely with the team to achieve sales targets, ensuring that appropriate support and action is taken to achieve these.
- Inspire the team to drive the deliver sales through excellent service delivery.
- First class business to business sales communicator.
- A full UK driving licence is essential, as you will be travelling to customer meetings, industry shows and events fairly regularly.
- Flexibility in working pattern to meet customer and role demands (this will include some weekends and evenings).

Salary will be circa 40k, plus excellent benefits and the chance to develop within a fast growing company. As part of the management team your working pattern will include flexibility with occasional weekends.
