Caretaker

Contract: Part Time, Permanent (30 hours per week / 52 weeks per year)

**Salary**: Grade 3, SP4-6 (FTE £23,114 to £23,893 / Actual £18,741 - £19,373 per annum)

Start date: 1st September 2024

We are looking for a caretaker to work at our school site and will be an active part of the wider Woodhall team.

You will be an able, practical and cheerful self-motivated individual.

Duties will include premises maintenance/upkeep, security of the buildings and site, ensuring inside and outside environments are well maintained and meeting all Health & Safety requirements.

You will be honest, reliable, hardworking and able to use your own initiative. Good DIY and premises skills are required, as is the ability to plan and carry out minor repairs and jobs competently.

You will be committed to achieving high standards in your work, willing to attend courses to develop your expertise and be able to deal with staff, pupils and the public in an efficient and friendly manner. Working hours will need to be flexible and split shifts will be required.
