**Overall Purpose of the Job**
Working within our hub in Widnes, our Product Archivists play a vital role in the expansion of Hattons Model Railways as we expand into new markets.
Being of a systematic nature, Product Archivists will work on improving the information that we can gather for groups of products, in line with these lines being added to our ever-expanding product database.
**Main tasks of the job**
- Work with our Senior Archivist & Vendor Support to to rework the information taking from multiple sources, based on the commercial value of the products to be imported
- Keep key stakeholders informed of where any archiving is up to, and highlight any issues which occur
- Assist our Pre-Owned team with the approval of product suggestions for our database from the public
The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the organisation.
**Previous Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**
- A systematic nature
- Model railway knowledge may be advantageous, however, someone with the right attitude is just as valuable
- Previous experience with Model Railways or in an Archivist role would be beneficial
**Salary and Working Hours**
The hours for this role cover a seven-day operation, running from Monday to Sunday. The hours will primarily be between 9:30 am and 5:30 pm.
You will be required to work five, 8-hour shifts (37.5 hours paid with a 15-minute paid break and a 30-minute unpaid break).
Pay for this role is hourly, starting at £10.80.
