**Junior Bookkeeper/Receptionist**

A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Junior Bookkeeper, with a minimum of 3-6 months experience, looking to progress their career within a busy, firm of Chartered Accountants based Folkestone.

The role will see you working at the front desk to the office as Reception. Normal duties will include welcoming visitors. fielding telephone calls and general ad hoc administration tasks.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to commence their career within accounts or for someone who is already studying towards their AAT qualification at Level 2.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assisting with the day-to-day bookkeeping and management accounts
- Helping with budgets and cash flows
- Aiding the preparation of VAT and CIS returns
- Meeting with clients
- Scanning and filing
- Reception duties including fielding telephone calls
- Welcoming visitors
- Preparing meeting rooms

**Skills & Qualities**:

- Experience of bookkeeping / a willingness to learn bookkeeping
- Studying towards AAT / looking to start studying AAT
- Good IT skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivated
- Pleasant and confident telephone manner
