**Contracts manager (horizontal directional drilling)**

Location**:Middlesborough**

The company:
Hunter Mason are a recruiting for a civil engineering Contracts Manager who has experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling. The company specialises in directional drilling and utility solutions, using the latest equipment and technology - often usingno-dig solutions.

The role:
To monitor Safety and Quality systems are being effective and are improving performance.
- To provide a single point of contact for the client in relation to overall project activities and represent the company’s interests with the client.
- To deliver the project within the authorised budget, optimising cost and quality parameters.
- To review production controls for monitoring, reporting, benchmarking works and improving performance, are in place.
- To provide regular feedback of production analysis to the Operations Director.
- To ensure all works, including works by sub-contractors are completed in accordance with the company’s external accreditations and to submitted costs.

**Requirements**:

- Degree / HNC / ONC in a relevant construction area.
- Full driving licence.
- Safety Management Awareness.
- Extensive UK Utility Experience at a management level.
- Design, installation and maintenance of infrastructure knowledge.
- Experienced in a contracting background in utilities infrastructure installation.
- SHEA Passports in Electrical / Gas / Water / Telecoms.
