Job description:
To assist with the planning of the curriculum using the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for guidance.
To help to set up the play room for the daily programme and to help tidy away at the end of the session.
To act as a keyperson to a group of children, liaising closely and building an effective relationship with parents/carers and ensuring each child's needs and recognised and met.
work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members.
To advise the manager of any concerns e.g. over children, parents or the safety of equipment, preserving confidentiality as necessary
To teach children, offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences.
To ensure that children are kept safe and that you understand when to follow child protection procedures.
To support meal times within the setting.
To actively participate at team meetings, supervisor meetings and appraisal meetings.
To keep completely confidential any information regarding the children, their families or other staff, which is acquired as part of the job.
To be aware of and adhere to all the setting's operational policies and procedures, e.g. health and safety, fire precautions, dropping off and collection of children, food safety, cleanliness of the setting etc.
To ensure that adequate records are kept and updated regularly.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the manager, in accordance with the setting's business plan/objectives

Full time level 3 or above practitioner, you will be someone who is dynamic, has the ability to work as part of a team, be able to use your initiative and manage your day effectively to ensure the smooth running of our nursery. Having worked in a setting before is desirable. The nursery has an excellent reputation and we want to maintain the excellent standards already embedded. You will be someone who is experienced and focused on delivering excellent standards of care with a natural ability to work as part of a team and always be willing to go above and beyond. Location: Early Bairds childrens nursery Billington

**Salary**: to be negotiated Hours: Monday - Friday between 7.30 - 18.00 depending on shifts (40 hours per week)
All training can be provided

Pay: £9.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
