Montessori Teacher role - Hounslow

Term time or all year round.

40 hours per week

Salary up to £26,000

**Skills and attributes we are looking for**:
1, To provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment conductive to the

individual needs and development of the children.

2. To take lead in developing, operating and evaluating Montessori curriculum

programme of activities suitable for the age range of children which ensures that

education and care are of the highest standard.

3. To ensure that Montessori approach to education shares the underlying

principles of Early years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the welfare and learning

and development requirements.

4. To ensure that the curriculum meets the individual needs of the children including

the ones with additional needs.

5. To ensure that the equipment and resources in all areas of learning are

appropriate, replenished, updated and maintained regularly.

6. Prepare for and schedule 3 individual communications with all parents through

parent evenings during the year and deal with all queries.

7. To support management to organize 2 Open Houses (Fall & Spring).

8. Meet individually with prospective parents and children.

9. Carefully observe and keep daily records on each child’s individual

progression through the classroom, always being available to offer gentle

guidance

10.Organize a record-keeping system for aides regarding children’s works

11. Complete individual Montessori records.

12.To attend monthly staff meetings and support management to organise

appropriate training sessions particularly Montessori approach of teaching with

Nursery team.

13.To keep up to date on Nursery Policies and procedures as required by Ofsted.

14.To ensure that all Policies and Procedures are followed appropriately, ensuring

all requirements of formal registration are met and maintained.

15.To promote partnership with parents. To arrange open days, support sessions for

parents, share information both verbally and through newsletters and

questionnaires and organise events like fun days, fundraising, festive

celebrations.
