At Serco, we collaborate with Asylum Accommodation and Support Services to provide support for individuals going through the asylum system. Our contracts for AASC bring various enhancements to the assistance we offer, placing emphasis on providing support for those in need and ensuring that their temporary accommodation meets certain standards.

The position offers a yearly salary of £22,500 along with a company van, for a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. A valid UK driving licence is necessary for this role, as the assigned company vehicle is for the coverage of the Salford area in Manchester.

The role of a cleaner is to complete both dispersal and communal cleaning duties across a range of properties. Applicants must be willing and able to travel regionally, and occasionally within the UK, possess excellent communication and IT skills, as well as previous experience in team and individual work, and ideally, cleaning larger households.

**What you will need to do the role**
- You need to have a willingness and ability to travel within the region and occasionally within the UK (a valid driver’s licence is required).
- You need good verbal & written communication skills.
- You need to be competent using IT
- You should have previous experience of working as part of a team as well as working individually.
- Previous experience of cleaning households
- Experience of cleaning large accommodation (desirable)
