**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced sports coach to join our team. As a sports coach, you will be responsible for providing coaching and guidance to children aged 5-11 years in a primary school setting. Your role will involve educating, guiding, and supporting young people in sports and fitness. You will be dedicated to helping young people develop skills and knowledge around football, basketball, gymnastics, yoga, boxercise, cricket, hockey, netball, and other sports. Training will be provided where needed.

You will be working in multiple schools within the Teesside area, mainly Stockton. You will be provided with equipment and set an activity delivery schedule each term, with a minimum of 12 hours/ week up to 20 hours/ week. There are also opportunities for holiday clubs year round, working on average 30 hours per week, during non-term time.

**Duties**:

- Plan and deliver effective PE lessons to a class of children during curriculum time or in after-school clubs.
- Teach children aged 5-11 the fundamentals of the sport, including rules, strategies, and techniques.
- Lead various classes such as football, basketball, boxercise, multi-sports, and fitness.
Support other coaches in sports sessions.
- Deliver breakfast clubs, such as 'wake up and shake up' sessions.
- Deliver holiday camps and work with other coaches to provide activities for children.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as a sports coach or in a in a similar role is required.
strong knowledge of various sports disciplines and their rules
- Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate techniques to athletes of all ages and skill levels
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes
- Strong organisational skills to plan training sessions and manage team schedules
- DBS is preferred.
- Full UK driving licence preferred
