Job Title: Event Sales and Administration Officer

**We are Love Tipis Ltd** - specialists in providing off-white and tan tipis, sailcloth’s and stretch tent structures to hire for weddings, private celebrations, birthdays, garden parties, festivals and corporate events. We also have an extensive range of characterful furniture, and décor available to hire. Our central hub is based just outside of Gatwick, ideally placed for events all over the South and Southeast of England.

**What we do?**

We have been supplying off-white and tan tipis, sailcloth’s and stretch tents since 2015, and our dedicated and friendly team has now delivered over 700 events. Our team has the industry knowledge and experience to help our customers make amazing events. So, they spend less time organising their event and more time making special memories and enjoying it.

**What we set out to achieve?**

We pride ourselves on delivering a friendly, professional and reliable service to our customers and use the latest technology to provide a great experience for both them and our team members who serve them.

**We are looking for**:
This person will be comfortable at working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as developing new and effective ways to achieve better results for the business.

The vacancy available is:
PAYE 18 hours per week, flexible, 3-4 days per week, based in a rural location on the edge of Crawley Down.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure customer enquiries, especially initial enquiries, are responded to promptly and efficiently.
- Adhere to the follow up process by making sure to follow up with all enquiries received, logging feedback in the sales follow up spreadsheet.
- Manage the bookings and sales follow up client information spreadsheet to ensure information is recorded and updated regularly.
- Liaise with clients as their event evolves, making changes and updates using the company software system.
- Answering the telephone in a polite and friendly manner, passing on information clearly and accurately to other team members in order that they can complete their roles fully.
- Managing the Companies two inboxes daily.
- Attend monthly team meetings.
- Support the office managers when required.
- Ability to think outside of the box and handle a wide variety of different customers and events.
- Problem solving - taking ownership of enquiries and ensuring these are resolved ensuring a smooth customer relationship.
- Encouraging satisfied customers to share their experience through online reviews, testimonials and social media platforms.
- To help with updating the company websites and promotional material.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience as a back-office assistant or in another relevant administrative role.
- Excellent communication skills both written, on the telephone and face to face.
- Experience of working in a customer focused role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of back-office computer systems and data bases.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to problem solve and think outside of the box.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- GCSE at grade C and above in English and Maths.
