Accounts Assistant

**Trainee Accounts Assistant - Full training will be given.**
You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for covering several functions within the Finance department.
You will have responsibility for the general upkeep of the purchase ledger logging invoices and chasing authorisation for payment. You will be responsible for raising invoices and then collecting these invoices by Direct debit. You will also be responsible for the logging and processing of monthly expenses claims.
**Job spec**:
- Logging invoices onto the purchase ledger
- Sending invoices to relevant manager for authorisation.
- Posting information on to our accounting system, Great Plains.
- Logging and processing monthly expense claims.
- Monitor and deal with queries for a number of department mailboxes
- Raising invoices and making payments to suppliers.
- Provide cover for other Finance department areas where necessary.
You will be working a combination of office and home mainly home - your normal weekly hours will be 37.5 hrs per week between 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with a one-hour break for lunch to be taken flexibly.

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
