**Job Type**: Full-Time

Retinue are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the London based Team as a Trainee Bid Writer. In your new role you will play a key part in driving our Sales Strategy, helping the Sales Enablement team to win new client business and retain important partnerships.

You will interact with various internal functions to gather information/responses relevant to the bid, working with the Head of Solutions Design to tailor our service to the clients’ requirements. You will be expected to compile responses to both RFI’s/RFP’s and produce proactive sales content and proposals, ensuring that the information contains answers to customer requirements and positions Retinue as a market leader in specialist MSP provision.

This is a high paced and flexible position which requires outstanding organisational skills, as well as a natural ability to forge relationships and work closely with multi-functional teams. We are looking for someone with demonstrable writing experience or a strong understanding/experience of a relevant industry and will exhibit this through diligence in bid review, recommendations, and the production of proposals which contribute to Retinue’s growth strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the coordination of responses to Requests for Proposals and/or Information, Invitations to Tender and Presentations.
- Oversee the quality and information presented in bid documentation, ensuring relevance to customer requirements, and consistency of tone and language throughout.
- Maintain and update the reference library of standard and non-standard answers, and company documents required for tender submissions e.g. company policies, insurances and financial information.
- Ownership of the overall end-to-end bid process to ensure they are submitted on time, and appropriately comprehensive.
- Work with the Senior Management Team to produce proactive proposals and sales brochures for target customers.
- Responsible for accurately tracking the pipeline of current, and future bids.
- Run win/loss reviews and circulate all information to the wider Team.
- Run internal lessons learnt sessions with the Bid Project Team following submission and outcome.
- Demonstrable writing experience.
- Natural relationship builder with the ability to engage and influence internal parties.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven ability to contribute to the successful winning of business by effective process management and delivery of proposals.
- Highly proficient in written English, and compiling PowerPoint presentations
- organising information in a compelling way to tell our story.
- Ability to understand complex information, to organise it logically, and to spot irregularities between bodies of information in the same document.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
