Painter/decorator

We are a rapidly expanding kitchen company looking for an experienced, conscientious individual who ideally lives in the Harrogate area and has experience in both, working in social housing kitchens, as well as in retail kitchens.

**The successful applicant will ideally be experienced in all aspects of painting, possess the ability to work well under pressure and will work well as part of a team and on their own initiative.**

We work to the highest standards and are looking for individuals who will provide a high quality finish and take pride in their work.

Required experience:

- PAINTING

Required licence or certification:

- FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE with Own Van/Car

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas from paint splatter
- Fill cracks, holes, and other imperfections in surfaces with putty or caulking
- Ensure proper ventilation and safety measures are followed while working with paints and chemicals
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within specified timelines

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a painter or similar role
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately
- Attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

**Salary**: From £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday
