Purchase Ledger Supervisor
Greenwellgleeson are recruiting for rapidly growing development company based out of their brand new offices in Hockley Heath, Solihull. This role is ideal for someone with previous management experience or someone who is looking for a step up into a moresenior position.
**£30,000 - Hockley Heath - Office Based (Flexible)**
Role Summary: Overall supervision and management of the Company's procurement payment process. This includes: monitoring of overall supplier balances, liaison with internal teams to ensure purchase orders are raised and invoices are authorised, raising monthlybatch supplier payment runs together with ad-hoc payment requests, liaison with all suppliers and sub-contractors in resolving queries. The team will grow over the coming 12 months so recruitment and supervision of assistants will also be required.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific objectives and deliverables will be agreed as part of the annual performance development review (PDR) process, the points below are a summary of the main duties and responsibilities:
- Logging, maintaining, and filing invoices
- Creating monthly and ad-hoc payment runs
- Payment processing
- Investigating purchase ledger queries
- Liaising with suppliers
- Liaising with internal colleagues to ensure timely processing of PO and invoice process
- Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details
- Assisting with queries and reporting
- Being first point of contact for all relevant queries
Skills and Requirements
- Knowledge of COINS is preferred but not essential
- Excellent time-keeping
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to build good working relationships
- Good team working skills
- Great communication skills
