She Advisor

Calibre Search are looking for a Contract SHE Advisor working in the South East (Peterborough, Norfolk, North Lincolnshire).
In this role, you will be carrying out site inspections on various Utilities sites to ensure that all workers are complying to SHE Health and Safety regulations. You will need to advise the team in the best way to develop and maintain the safety managementsystem.
It's essential that you have prior experience working in a SHE Advisor capacity and are capable of working within a team, providing timely operational SHE support and advice, and conducting Health and Safety inspections and audits efficiently and thoroughly.
Since this role is based on Utilities sites, it's essential that you have worked on a site in this capacity before.
This is an entirely remote role, so you must be able to travel across the South East to the various Utilities sites.
Essential:

- Full UK driving license
- NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent
- Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g. TechIOSH or above).
- Experience working as a SHE Advisor.
Desirable:

- Three years practical H&S experience
- Experience of working in an Alliance Environment
- Experience of working in utilities
- Environmental qualification (IEMA or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 Standards
- Auditing qualification
- Experience in Behaviour Based Safety

Rate is dependent on experience, although will be between £250-350/d inside IR35 umbrella.
