**Purpose of the role**

Norwood Park Events are looking for a Catering Front of House to join the growing Catering team.

Norwood Park is an impressive wedding venue situated on the outskirts of Southwell. With its striking Georgian architecture, luxury interior, outstanding customer service, and high-end food, which has created a perfect environment for our customers, as well as our staff.

To deal with our increasing demand, we have an exciting opportunity for a Catering Front of House to come and join Norwood Park’s Catering team. We are looking for a motivated individual, with is passionate about food and good service, who can support the Head Chef and the Sous Chef in running a vibrant catering service at our prestigious wedding venue.

**Key responsibilities**
- Ability to manage a large waiting team, and monitoring monthly rotas.
- Work ‘front-of-house’, serving customers food, and directing waiting staff
- Customer-focused at all times by being visible during service periods, approachable, and quick to exceed expectations in fulfilling customer needs
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Help the Head Chef, Senior Sous Chef and Sous Chef get ready for service by preparing plates
- Help with quality control to ensure food is of impeccable standard while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Provide friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to all customers
- Work in a clean and tidy manner in a fast-paced environment
- Kitchen cleaning, including but not limited to washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors, and walls
- Ensure the highest level of cleanliness is achieved in all catering work areas and within the reception rooms.
- Leading on food tasting and support couples with their menu choices.
- Personal grooming and appearance standards are met regarding cleanliness, sanitation and hygiene.
- Able to handle pressure calmly and professionally.

**About you**
- An interest in food and catering, with experience of working in a similar environment and good knowledge of relevant H&S legislation
- Great customer service with a passion for promoting a fun and efficient team
- Works well under pressure, and is comfortable in a very flexible, fast-paced working environment
- Team player that can inspire others
- Shows a hands-on and willing approach
- Enthusiastic, with an eagerness to learn new skills and a commitment to personal continuous professional development
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work alone without direction
- Dress smartly and well presented
- Happy to work evenings and weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
