Gunn JCB are main dealers for JCB construction and industrial machinery. Due to continued expansion, we are currently seeking to recruit a Van Sales Delivery Driver based at our Altrincham Depot.

We are a small close-knit team that support each other like a family. You will enjoy working closely alongside your experienced colleagues to deliver and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction that the industry has to offer.

We are looking for a well-motivated individual, with a desire to exceed our customers’ expectations in every way, to work as part of an experienced and dedicated team.

This Van Sales Delivery Driver role is primarily based in the field, meeting customers and delivering parts, but working closely with our Altrincham Depot. You will build your understanding of our business, products, and procedures until you have a working knowledge of the parts operation and how to overcome logístical challenges. This will include:

- serving our customers on the counter and over the phone.
- working with service colleagues to arrange parts deliveries.
- stock management.
- ordering parts via JCB’s online catalogue.
- processing parts returns.
- building your customer portfolio.

Once you are confident in these fundamental processes, you will be able to work more independently in a customer facing role with a focus on developing the relationship between Gunn JCB and some of Altrincham’s key customers. This would be a great opportunity for someone who has strong communication skills and is sales oriented.

Detailed training will be given by your colleagues and our specialised training team, who have recently developed a bespoke training programme for our parts staff.

- Previous experience in a driving role
- Previous experience in a Parts Department (ideally plant machinery)
- Some automotive or other mechanical experience
- Licenced to tow a trailer
