We are a growing team based in Prague, developing world leading game-based military simulations for major NATO powers and their allies. We are constantly looking for ways to advance the whole industry, using the latest technologies and trends (such as whole world simulation, virtual reality and motion tracking).

**Position Overview**

Environment Artists are responsible for the creation of so-called “Environment Art” (vegetation, natural features, cultural features such as buildings, bridges, etc). Their primary responsibility is to work on various external and internal projects, making sure the project’s art assets are well constructed and delivered. They seek to coordinate with the other development functional disciplines and make sure that our art assets are created in an efficient manner.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Work closely with the Lead Environment Artist and the Development Team, to be responsible for creating high-quality environment content.
- Produce and maintain a core database of PBR materials and textures used across all kinds of environmental assets
- Help to improve texturing and material pipeline
- Sharing knowledge and being open to learning from others.

**Management**
- Offers solid communication skills, both oral and written.
- Observes deadlines; endeavour to exceed expectations.

**Process**
- Works closely with the Lead Environment Artist to maintain technical consistency and quality of all assigned projects.

**Knowledge**
- Demonstrates a level of proficiency with standard artwork creation tools like - Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Photoshop, Zbrush, 3DS Max, Maya, etc...
- Passion for games as well as a clear knowledge of current modeling and texturing practices
- Strong understanding of modern game art pipelines and methodologies, knowledge of PBR rendering, texture, material, and its relation with lighting
- Experience with procedural approaches and utilization of modern technologies for texture production

**Key Requirements**
- 2+ years of games industry experience with current gen tech.
- Strong portfolio showing 3D/2D art skills and demonstrating a high level of artistic creativity.
- Good English (verbal and written) communication skills

**Preferred Requirements**
- Low-poly and High-poly modeling skills
- Experience with photogrammetry
