They are seeking a Head of IT with extensive experience in cloud technologies, network technologies, enterprise storage and business intelligence.

In this role, you will develop and execute the company’s technical strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals and market trends. As a key part of role will involve working alongside digital partners to develop and implement their e-commerce strategy, experience working in an e-commerce business (or a retail business with an online presence) is essential for this role.

The successful Head of IT Operations will have the following attributes:

- A deep understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Microsoft Azure or GCP.
- A strong understanding of network technologies such as Cisco Meraki, Ubiquiti, FortiGate, Palo Alto Firewall, or similar.
- Exceptional project management skills, being comfortable with both agile and waterfall methodologies.
- An understanding of software licensing, solution architecture, and enterprise licensing schemes.
- Experience managing small (1-5) internal IT teams and external vendors, with the business currently having a small internal team that is supported by an IT MSP.

- Experience implementing and developing advanced reporting capabilities (ideally, with tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
- Experience working in businesses with an online and physical presence (stores, venues, etc.) is highly desirable.
