Family run Organic dairy farm, milking 330 cows on an autumn block calving system. 2018 built 20:40 parlour with ACRs and individual feeding. Grass based system with a well set up grazing platform, grass measuring weekly and strip feeding. Cubicle housed and tmr fed during winter.

We are looking for an assistant herd person to work alongside the herdsman and farm manager. The role will include milking, collecting cows from the field, setting up fences, yard scraping, heifer rearing and various other dairy work. The role will be varied through out the year with busier times during the calving period Aug - Nov and a quiet times during the summer months June - Aug

In return we will offer very competitive wage based on experience and accommodation requirements. We have two options on accommodation available. A 3 bedroom house available in the local village 5 mins walk from the farm or a mobile home. Regular time off, 28 days holiday (based on a 285 contract) and further training where needed. There is also part time work available for a partner, calf rearing, relief milking or holiday let cleaning if required.

**Salary**: £11.00-£17.00 per hour
