Commercial Trainee

GrainCo is excited to announce we’re hiring for a new Commercial Trainee to join our team in Central Scotland There’s no need to come from an agricultural background, or have a degree necessarily. Personality, drive and attitude are more important to us, as well as commitment to developing your skills both for your own and the companies benefit. This is an exciting opportunity with plenty of scope for progression. Many of our senior traders also started as our trainees once upon a time

A bit of background on GrainCo. As an overall business, we market over 1mmt grain in Scotland and the North of England and have one of the strongest financial balance sheets in the sector. We believe our unique trading model helps forge long standing relationships with both our growers and customers too.

Full training and support will be provided to assist with your development. This will cover all aspects of both the business and industry, including; grain markets, commercial trading, logistics, admin, sustainability and lots more.

Salary will be industry competitive and any bonuses performance related.

A company vehicle will be provided, as well as transport costs covered.

You will have 25 days holidays annually, plus public holidays and access to the GrainCo pension plan, with contributions matched by the company.
