Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Assistant required for a small IT refurbishing company based in South Godstone

Must be enthusiastic & able to work on own initiative and un-supervised - Some heavy lifting involved

Hours: 45hrsper week Mon - Fri - 9am -4pm

**General Responsibilities**

maintaining the warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packing material and debris

using computerised systems, barcode scanners and other technology to record goods movement

loading and unloading goods from delivery vans or lorries

checking that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received

moving the goods to the correct area in the warehouse

labelling goods

**Storage & Stock Control**

allocating storage space to goods

relocating and re-stacking goods to make space for a new delivery

**Goods Out**

picking goods that have been ordered

keeping records of goods which have been picked

preparing despatch notes and labels

moving and stacking goods ready for delivery.

This role is based at our warehouse in RH9 8JJ so own transport will be required, as public transport links are very poor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £18,000.00 per year
