TSB’s Credit Risk team plays a crucial role in ensuring our customers borrow well whilst safeguarding the Bank’s exposure. We oversee the way in which TSB manage its risks; providing expert advice and guidance to ensure that we are compliant with regulation,the law and that we’re delivering the best outcomes for our customers.

The team designs and delivers secured and unsecured credit management strategies that enables the Bank to control lending risk, deliver sustainable growth and meet our customers’ needs.

As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical insight into customer behaviour, credit performance and profitability to shape the Bank’s credit risk strategies.

What we need today

Ideally, you’ll currently have these skills and experience:

- Degree educated or proven experience within Credit Risk
- Experience in an analytical role within a Credit Risk function.
- Strong analytical skills using tools such as SAS (preferred), SQL, Excel to solve business problems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on own initiative, identifying areas of focus and prioritisation of own workload
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
- A keen eye for detail

What we need tomorrow

- Be responsible for providing analysis and insight into the portfolio’s Credit Risk profile and its impact on Impairment and wider business
- Design and deliver enhancements to credit risk strategies to achieve the right outcome for our customers
- Generate key management information to support business direction setting and ensure Risk Appetite goals are met
- Use tools such as SAS and Excel at an advanced level to manipulate and interrogate data from a wide variety of large datasets
