NJR Recruitment are delighted to be able to bring to market this exclusive opportunity for a Property Damage Claims Handler to work for one of our key clients, an expanding European Insurance Company based out of state-of-the-art Spinningfields offices in Manchester City Centre.
You will be joining a growing claims operation, working for a unique Insurer challenging the UK market who are enjoying an exciting period of new business successes. With rapid growth and a wealth of opportunity, they are looking to expand their Casualty team with multiple new hires, including this fantastic opportunity for a Property Damage Handler.
You will be responsible for dealing with any damage to third party properties which may include claims such as tree root, subsidence, Japanese knot weed and escape of water. Although some Public Liability or Property Damage knowledge and experience would be fantastic, we are also prepared to consider applicants from recent graduates that can be trained into dealing with this line of business.
Skills and Experience Required:
- This role will suit a competent yet driven individual to be part of a business that likes to challenge, yet also be challenged.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital, as this will be a role where you may need to interrogate, interview and probe where necessary to get the right result.
- Being confident in your own ability and good decision making is immensely important.
- Be well organised, able to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment.
- Strong IT knowledge will be required, in particular Microsoft Office.
