**Bartender** to join our American Bar team.

The on target earning potential for this role is £28189 / annual salary, compromising of a base rate of £11.50 per hour, £23,322 annual salary, and the expectation of around £2.40 per hour additional in gratuities. - Bringing a dynamic, warm and friendly service to our stunning American Bar, you’ll be producing inspiring cocktails and presenting exquisite wines and fine Scottish malts
- Using your creativity, you’ll make sure our drinks inspire and captivate our guests; delivering a warm and memorable experience
- You’ll be a driving force of creativity and standards, expertly assisting our guests and sharing your fabulous knowledge
- Meticulous in preparing drinks; you’ll accurately measure, following recipes and making sure they’re also presented immaculately.
- Bringing a dynamic, warm and friendly service to our stunning American Bar, you’ll be producing inspiring cocktails and presenting exquisite wines
- Consistently ensuring the highest standards of service, drinks preparation and bar organisation; always exceeding our guests’ expectations
- You’ll be a driving force of creativity and standards across the estate; supporting the development of the most incredible offerings, from the most exotic cocktails, to fine Scottish malts and everything in between
- Expertly assisting our guests and sharing your knowledge of classic cocktails, wines and spirits
- Meticulous in preparing drinks; you’ll accurately measure, following recipes and making sure they’re also presented immaculately
- You’ll take pride in a clean and well-organised bar area, including preparing fresh ingredients for service
- Proficiently upselling our bar offerings; supporting and encouraging your team members to expertly and confidently do the same at every opportunity
- You’ll be an early bird some days and a night owl other, working flexibly during the week and weekends
- Interacting with our guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay 5 star in every way

**The kind of person we're looking for**:

- You already have strong bartending skills with knowledge and passion for cocktail creation
- Ideally, you’re currently established in a similar role, having had experience within a 5* hospitality environment, however having a great attitude is essential
- Your perspective and approach are always fresh; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you, to your guest it’s the first time
- You have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and willingness to exceed guest expectation
- You want to be the best and work with the best - learning from the experts in our team and sharing your knowledge with us
- You have a high level of resilience and the ability to deal with fast-paced environments is essential
- You’re a sociable person - both towards the guests you’re looking after and your fellow colleagues
- Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; you're passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand
- You have a positive “can do” attitude to solving problems in a professional and courteous manner
