**Job Description**:
We are looking for a highly organised and efficient Administrator to join our team at our timber merchants based in Bury St Edmunds. As the Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, managing customer orders, and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of contact for customers, dealing with any queries they may have in a professional and efficient manner.
- Process and manage customer orders, ensuring they are accurate and delivered on time.
- Keep accurate records of customer orders and liaise with the sales team to ensure they have up-to-date information.
- Assist the sales team with general administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and preparing sales reports.
- Manage stock levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
- Provide support for marketing and promotional activities.
- Handle customer complaints and ensure they are resolved quickly and effectively.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of the timber industry would be desirable but not essential.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
