As Principal Researcher - Northern Ireland Records, you will use your knowledge and expertise in Northern Irish history to promote understanding of, and access to, records within your field by providing advice on records and proactively sharing knowledge and expertise internally and with the Victims Payment Board. You will manage a small team (currently one member of staff) but need to work with colleagues from across the archives.

You will also develop TNA services to support the work of the Victims Payment Board with regards to The National Archives Collection. You will liaise with senior colleagues from The National Archives and, where necessary, the Victims Payment Board, ensuring demands of service are clearly and expertly conveyed with a focus on user needs.
