Experienced paint sprayer required.
**Reporting To**:Production Manager
**Location**: Walworth Business Park
**Background Information**
United Shield are an International company exporting safety equipment around the world.The Paint Sprayer, working as part of a team, is responsible for ensuring that all component parts are undercoated, sanded and top coated ready for the final assembly process.
**Primary Functions**
- Being part of the undercoating, sanding and top coating painting processes, ensuring that all component parts are ready for the final assembly process to agreed standards of quality and time.
- Ensure minimum wastage of materials at all times through effective painting and sanding operations.
- Continuously strive to improve the quality of the painting processes.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity.

- **Secondary Functions**:

- Trouble-shoot and resolve paint equipment issues.
- Covering absences.
- Actively champion Health and Safety to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitoring and either cleaning or changing the spray booth extraction filters and over spray dust.
- Any other suitable tasks allocated during the course of the working day by the Production manager.
- The ability to work to specified performance targets.
- Diligence and attention to detail.
- The ability to work as part of a team or independently.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Qualifications**
- Essential: English and maths at GCSE to Grade c (4-9) or higher.
- Desirable: Relevant NVQ

**Experience**
- Good personal organisation and time management skills.
- Experience in a similar role.
