**Working Hours**: 10 hours per week over 5 evenings (Monday - Friday)

**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated office cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our office located in Holborn. You will be responsible for performing various cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and organised workspace for our employees. We will provide all necessary cleaning items and equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Carry out general cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors, carpets, and office furniture.
- Empty and clean waste containers and dispose of rubbish in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in kitchen areas, general kitchen upkeep, washing dishes ,load/unload dishwasher, clean fridges, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, windowsills, and other office equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as meeting rooms, reception areas, and corridors.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner, following established schedules and instructions.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Follow specific instructions or requests regarding special cleaning projects or areas that require additional attention and additional hours from time to time.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of employees and sensitive information encountered during cleaning duties.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in office cleaning or a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritise tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
- Physical stamina to handle regular cleaning tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must have legal authorisation to work as a self-employed cleaner.

**Compensation**:
Payment will be made on an hourly basis, in accordance with the agreed-upon rate. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.

The role will begin in August 2023.
