To provide clinical leadership within the Autism Diagnostic Team. To have supervisory responsibility for assistants, co-workers and students working within the team. To take the lead role in triaging incoming referrals and prioritising according to need. To provide a highly specialist assessment and diagnosis within the Autism Diagnostic Team.

The post holder will be an expert in their field. To work with the team manager to have strategic oversight and the development of the autism diagnostic pathway. To liaise with a wide range of professional and external agencies to ensure efficient, high-quality patient/client care and to contribute to multi-disciplinary policies and protocols. To support team members in specialist areas of work, and to be actively involved in a range of service developments.
