We are currently recruiting 2 x Nursery Assistants, or 1 Nursery Assistant and 1 Senior Nursery Practitioner, for our beautiful, **brand new **children’s day nursery and preschool in Walton On Thames.

We are seeking individuals who can promote high quality care in a stimulating, rich learning environment which offers wonderful opportunities for all ages of children from 3 months-5 years.

**Main responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant**:

- Provide a positive learning environment that offers choice, independence and a range of experiences, whilst meeting all of the children's needs.
- Be able to have key person responsibility and carry out daily and individual planning.
- Ensuring a safe, secure and caring environment for the well-being of the children.
- Assisting the Nursery Management in all aspects of providing day to day high quality childcare.
- Be passionate about childcare and helping children to achieve, play and be safe.
- Have previous experience of working with children under the age of five.
- Be qualified to NVQ level 2 / 3 or equivalent in childcare (highly desirable)
- Have a good working knowledge of the EYFS - Early Years Foundation Stages

We appreciate that it is important to get work life balance right and as such, we are happy to consider either full time (over 4 or 5 days), or Part time hours and salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: £10.10-£13.00 per hour
