With strong relationships with local businesses my client, a well regarded and established accountancy firm based on the outskirts of the west of Newcastle are looking to recruit additional accounts staff.

As a fairly small accountancy practice yet one that is rapidly growing, securing the right person is key. My client is looking for an individual who feels at home working in a small close knit team, keen to “muck-in” with all aspects of accounting and be a passionate team player.

The role and work can be tailored to your level of experience, they are happy to consider a **school leaver or graduate **passionate about a career in accountancy, alternatively an **accounting professional already working in and accountancy practice,** maybe studying towards your **AAT or ACCA/ACA exams** and would be able to fit in and take on some of the bookkeeping and accounts work from day one. Full technical training will be provided.

The end goal is to develop you into a qualified Accountant for which study support would be provided. Whether you are at the start or middle of this journey we would like to hear from you. There will always be aspects of bookkeeping to your remit so you need to be comfortable with this (a characteristic of working in a small firm), however you will also work with clients on their year end statutory accounting dealing with any queries or year end queries.

This is an excellent opportunity for those striving to work in the accounting profession, so whether you can bring experience from the outset or just the passion to learn, you are encouraged to apply. It is important your communication skills, both written and spoken are first class, given the large amount of liaison you will do each day. A passion for accounting and an understanding of working in a small team is essential.

You will not need to attend clients site very often but due to the office location you must be able to drive or be a keen cyclist perhaps
