Health and Care Research Wales (HCRW) is a research infrastructure funded by the Division of Research & Development, Welsh Government. The NHS Research Delivery Team is led by the R&D Director and Senior Management Team to provide support in the delivery of high-quality health research at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. Part of this service includes a NHS research delivery team employed by NHS organisations to support the delivery of high-quality health and social care studies.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Urology Research Team as a Trial Administrator.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to join our friendly, professional research team.
Strong administrative and IT skills are essential to support the team in the delivery of its portfolio of research studies. You will be the main contact for trial set up, including site file management, in accordance with GCP (Good Clinical Practice), arranging site visits and monitoring visits from study sponsors. You will be responsible for data entry, and resolving data queries with an exceptional level of attention to detail.
You will communicate regularly with our local Research and Development department and multidisciplinary team, as well as collaborating with researchers, study sponsors and clinical trials units at a national and international level.
Experience in research or clinical trials and urology would be advantageous but you can expect a detailed induction with support from the research team followed by ongoing training and development opportunities from Health and Care Research Wales.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
