**Year 1 Teaching Assistant**

**Education Supply Pool** are recruiting a **Year 1 Teaching Assistant** on the behalf of a **great primary school based in Newbridge.**

The school provides a **caring environment** and has an **inclusive ethos** where **pupils develop positive attitudes to each other regardless of background or ability.** There is **good provision to enable pupils to understand and appreciate diversity in society.**

There are **196 pupils from 3 to 11 years of age**, including **27 who attend the nursery on a part-time basis**. There are **five single-age classes **and **four mixed-age class.**

Are you an experience teaching assistant, looking for a new opportunity?

Do you enjoy support teaching?
- Minimum of **NVQ Level 2, CACHE Level 2, BTEC, BA (Hons) Education** or **experience working within an education setting?**
- Assist with **preparing lessons** in all areas of the school curriculum with **consideration of varied levels of student abilities.**
- Ability to **follow instructions** and **maintain a positive attitude.**
- Provide **simulating activities** whilst **ensuring hygiene and safety rules.**
- Maintain a **supportive and clean classroom environment.**
- Be **attentive to the unique needs** of each student and be able **to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.**
- **Great communication skills** to collaborate with other **teachers and families** when needed.

As **a valued member of ESP**, you’ll receive:

- A minimum pay rate of at least £70
