Security and Investigations Adviser

Mitie are currently recruiting for a Security and Investigations Adviser** **to manage the effective operation of all security and intelligence information systems to ensure a safe and secure environment.

Provide advice, coaching and support to staff in order to maximise the efficient and effective running of the security function.

Salary is £35,000 Monday to Friday 40 hours per Week based in Manston

You will provide support and advice to operational staff to ensure quality standards are met in security with relevant legislation.

Conduct regular security audits to ensure business operations, employees and facilities comply with all relevant regulations and specifications.

Manage intelligence systems and flow of information, reporting all relevant information to senior management and where appropriate Home Office colleagues to maximise the security of Manston and prevent possible incidents occurring.

Essential criteria for the role is as follows:
Excellent attention to detail

Clear Communicator: Both verbal and written English of a high standard

Basic-Intermediate IT Skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability to communicate and influence operational staff and Management.

Strong planning / time management / prioritisation skills

Strong written and verbal English language skills

Hold a UK Driver's License.

Experience working with targets.

Previous experience of working in a custodial environment

In-depth security experience
